Fundraising

A strong fundraising strategy can help an organization set clear goals and objectives, allowing leaders to invest in new programs, resources, and growth. Our fundraising consultants support organizations to deepen relationships with existing donors and funders while creating strategies and actionable steps to increase giving and acquire new donors. Our team becomes an extension of our clients and takes the lead on planning successful galas, campaigns, major donor engagement, and managing grants. We also offer fundraising coaching for development teams, in addition to offering interim development support by taking over all responsibilities of the development team. Search & Recruitment

Recruiting the right employees can mean the difference between success and failure of an organization. With so much competition, businesses must ensure that they attract the best talent. Our clients can rely on us to provide reliable, personalized, responsive communication, and guidance throughout the recruitment process. Having local lived experience, and an understanding of the hiring environment, we begin the discovery phase by gathering input from stakeholders, conducting a salary study, and creating a candidate profile that helps us in writing a competitive job description to screen for the ideal candidate. With an equitable hiring approach, we create interview rubrics, facilitate and schedule interviews with the hiring committee, negotiate salaries, and create offer letters.

Strategic Planning

An effective strategic plan ensures that everyone in an organization is working towards a common vision by aligning funds, programming goals, identifying opportunities, and mitigating risks. Our trademarked strategic planning process prioritizes staff and stakeholder voices in a progressive, inclusive, and results-driven manner, ensuring a clear vision and actionable effective plan. We begin with a needs assessment, followed by data-informed focus groups and a SWOT analysis. Together, we develop SMART goals and finalize the strategic plan, detailing priorities, action steps, roles, and budgets. The plan is then implemented with the leadership team and staff, with ongoing mentorship and quarterly check-ins to navigate roadblocks and explore new opportunities. Throughout, we provide on-the-ground support, coaching, meeting facilitation, and a comprehensive written executive summary and strategic plan.

Education Support Services

Education is crucial to the success of future generations and the creation of equitable, resilient communities. Our multi-tiered, holistic approach centers on the human needs of students, parents/caregivers, teachers, and leaders. While we offer a broad range of educational support services, our expertise lies in positive behavior support training and restorative justice practices, grounded in social-emotional learning (SEL) principles. This includes implementing comprehensive SEL plans with professional development, curriculum training, and program evaluation. We also assist clients in securing state grants for wellness centers and school counseling, enhancing mental health support and resilience. This work directly impacts academic achievement, relational trust, and the development of SEL and cultural responsiveness competencies among all stakeholders. Services offered include: -Curriculum evaluation and training -Leadership and teacher instructional coaching with professional development -Performance evaluation and improvement plan coaching -Strategic planning -Positive Behavior Intervention Supports -Restorative justice practices and positive discipline coaching -Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Plans and implementation strategies -Intervention services that include program design for English language learners, and training for teachers in English language instruction -College Counseling -Navigating admission choices, college applications, writing personal statements, and filing FAFSA applications

Leadership & Board Development

Purpose driven leadership helps to create a sense of direction, alignment, commitment, and achievement of strategic goals. It can also help leaders and their teams feel more fulfilled and satisfied in their work, which can lead to a more positive work environment, increased retention, productivity, and overall org success. Our coaching and capacity building approach supports leaders across all levels of an organization to develop purpose driven leadership. We inspire people to invest in themselves and their leadership journey by facilitating conversations with meaning, values, motive, and aligning leaders to the org's mission. Our approach creates new mindsets and instills collaborative behaviors. Leaders become active listeners and learners, able to use what they know, and have learned to move their organization, teams, and individual performance forward beyond perceived barriers. We offer cultural responsiveness, and team-building workshops focusing on developing and harnessing social-emotional intelligence and competencies. We also help leaders create and implement a performance evaluation system that prioritizes goals and a growth mindset. At the board level, we offer training on creating and updating board bylaws, setting board goals, offering best practices for boards to self-evaluate their efficacy, board member transition planning, and strategies to help Boards embrace fundraising.

Marketing

Every organization needs to tell their story to a variety of audiences including those they serve, donors, partners, and volunteers. A strong marketing plan helps organizations create brand awareness. Our marketing team takes the lead to help our clients review and make updates to their digital marketing, design compelling mission-centric websites, activate email marketing, and increase engagement on social media and LinkedIn in support of amplifying their brand and mission impact.
